🛑 Decision Intelligence starts with decision modeling but workflow and process are NOT decision models.

There are several options for decision modeling.

But…

Some are more of a “Decision Doodling” than “Decision Modeling”. Comparing and reducing them to a decision matrix was not easy!

There are some use cases where “Decision Doodling”, such as CDD and DMN CL1 is fine, but you will likely need more in your enterprise.

Below is the comparison of different techniques of decision modeling:
🔹Causal Decision Diagram (CDD) vs.
🔹Decision Model and Notation (DMN)/DRD vs.
🔹Dynamic Decision Graph (DDG based on DMN CL3)

✨It boils down to what you need and what are your use cases:
* Do you only need it for stakeholder alignments and brainstorming sessions?
* Or do you need to formally specify how decisions are made and execute them?
* Or a bit of both potentially?
